Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience with event planning and coordination preferred
- retail or customer service experience required
- excellent people skills
- ability to communicate effectively in multiple forms
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
- ability to adapt to flexible work hours including nights and weekends
- willingness to work in a retail environment
- ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and carrying
- eligibility to satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup and emergency plans
- ensure client satisfaction for events
- uphold company cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- assist with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
- participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies
- interact with others respectfully and positively
- cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
