Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience with children's events
- Retail or customer service experience required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladder
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to handle job stress and maintain a positive attitude
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
Job Qualifications

- Experience working with children and children's events
- Retail and customer service experience
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills

- Basic knowledge of merchandising and retail operations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- Engage customers on rewards programs and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking and merchandising
- Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to SOPs and company policies
- Interact respectfully with others and promote organization values
- Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleaning activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
