Job Requirements

Must have experience in retail or customer service
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Must be able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
Must have good organizational skills
Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and craft classes
Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
Facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
Communicate and coordinate events with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
Adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
Ensure client satisfaction for all scheduled events
Uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
Promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
Assist with omni-channel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to SOPs and company policies
Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor
Cross train in custom framing sales and production
Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
Perform other duties as assigned
