Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in retail or event coordination
ability to stand for long periods
ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to handle stressful situations calmly
basic computer skills for administrative tasks
flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
ability to follow company policies and safety standards

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
engage with clients of all ages creating an environment of fun and creativity
demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and perform activities like face painting
facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
communicate events effectively with clients and store team members
complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
create backup or emergency plans as needed
ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after events
help customers shop and locate products
provide fast and friendly checkout experience
promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and handle enrollments
educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram tasks
complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
support shrink and safety programs
adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
perform other duties as assigned
