Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in retail or customer service
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
Strong communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
Must comply with federal, state, and local legal job requirements

Experience working with children and children’s events
Retail and/or customer service experience
Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Creative problem-solving skills
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
Facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
Communicate events and coordinate with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
Adjust plans based on client feedback and create emergency backup plans
Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
Help customers shop and locate products
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
Engage customers on rewards program and credit card enrollments
Educate customers on customer feedback surveys
Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise maintenance
Support safety, shrink programs, and adhere to company policies
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with guests and team members
Cross train in custom framing selling and production
Participate in store cleanliness activities
