Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in retail and customer service
  • Ability to handle job stress and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes
  • Ability to perform bending, reaching, carrying, and use equipment such as ladders
  • Effective communication skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment

  • Experience planning and coordinating events, preferably with children
  • Customer service or retail experience
  • Excellent people skills
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and nonverbal
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to engage and work effectively with individuals of all ages
  • Basic computer skills for administrative tasks
  • Ability to multitask and adapt plans as necessary

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust and create contingency plans based on client feedback
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards during events
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and enroll customers in rewards and credit card programs
  • Educate customers on feedback surveys
  • Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Support store safety and shrink programs
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Maintain a positive and respectful interaction with customers and coworkers
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • Cross-trained in custom framing sales and production
