Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with event management software
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial compliance
  • Availability to work flexible hours during event periods

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a nonprofit setting
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficiency with event registration and tracking software

  • Competence in budget management and vendor negotiation

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate high-quality stakeholder events aligned with organizational goals
  • Serve as point-person during events ensuring smooth execution and audience engagement
  • Negotiate agreements and manage contracts with external vendors
  • Train and educate staff and volunteers to assist during events
  • Manage event budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to produce event invitations, scripts, videos, and social media content
  • Lead RSVP tracking and event registration processes
  • Generate post-event reports analyzing event ROI and effectiveness
  • Cultivate positive relationships with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders through networking and engagement
