Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Retail and/or customer service experience required
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Capability to bend, lift, carry, reach and stretch regularly
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves safely using ladders or equipment
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
  • Ability to handle job stress and maintain respectful and positive interaction with others

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork
  • Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs
  • Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards including setup and cleanup
  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Engage customers on rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • Assist with omnichannel processes including buy online pickup in store and ship from store
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform store in stock optimization and ad set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Interact positively with others including customers and team members
  • Cross trained in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
