Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Retail and/or customer service experience required
Ability to remain standing for long periods
Ability to move throughout the store
Capability to bend, lift, carry, reach and stretch regularly
Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves safely using ladders or equipment
Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
Ability to handle job stress and maintain respectful and positive interaction with others

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
Communicate events with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork
Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs
Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards including setup and cleanup
Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
Engage customers on rewards program and credit card enrollments
Assist with omnichannel processes including buy online pickup in store and ship from store
Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
Perform store in stock optimization and ad set duties
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
Interact positively with others including customers and team members
Cross trained in custom framing selling and production
Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned
