We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Events Manager to join our Strategic Client Coverage Group team based in New York. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting client-facing events and engagements on a global scale, working closely with senior stakeholders across Citadel Securities. The Strategic Client Coverage Group collaborates with Business Heads, Function Heads, and external partners to drive initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the CEO's office.
As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for managing a dynamic and varied workload of virtual and in-person events, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with business goals. This position demands outstanding business judgement, exceptional time management skills, and the adaptability to adjust your role as needed to achieve success. You will support the head of client events and engagements in planning and executing events and managing a global events calendar that is subject to frequent changes based on evolving business needs.
Your expertise will extend to coordinating multiple aspects of event planning including contracting, billing, offsite and onsite logistics, production, preparation of meeting materials, and data entry. Proficiency in Cvent event management software is essential as you will be responsible for creating and maintaining events within the system. This role offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-performing environment that values precision, creativity, and teamwork.
The salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the position. Job Requirements
