Job Description
This position is with the City of Montgomery and involves planning, coordinating, and managing various events such as concerts, cruises, festivals, parades, weddings, and other special events for public assembly facilities. The Events Coordinator will assist the Events Manager in executing City Events departmental programming and reports to the Museum Deputy Director in executing Museum departmental programming.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience in planning, coordinating, and promoting special events in a large public assembly facility. A Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, marketing, or a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience.
