The Events Assistant position at Hilton is a full-time role that plays a key support function within the hotel's events and catering department. The role is pivotal in helping ensure the flawless execution of events by providing administrative and clerical assistance to department managers. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Handle calls and e-mail correspondence in a courteous, efficient and clear manner
  • Assist managers with various tasks including greeting clients, checking space availability, requesting history, creating group resumes, VIP guest arrangements, servicing affiliates, and initiating programs, menus and Banquet Event Orders from client specification sheets
  • Process all post group paperwork, PER’s, rebate and commission memos
  • Schedule business travel for the designated team, including filling out Personnel Authorizations, Check Requests, or other hotel documents needed to ensure complete and accurate payroll checks and reports
