Services offered include mental health and pediatric therapies, autism treatment, home visiting programs, an inclusive preschool, and disability services designed to support and empower families in need. The center prides itself on its mission to provide compassionate, effective care that nurtures children's growth and development in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The Community Relations and Development team at St. David's Center is instrumental in advancing the organization's mission by managing marketing, communication, public relations, advocacy, and fundraising efforts. This team plays a critical role in achieving enrollment targets, engaging diverse audiences with meaningful information, and positioning the center as a thought leader in child development and early intervention. Additionally, the team advocates for policy changes that positively impact children and families and successfully raises $2.3 million annually to sustain and expand services.
The Events and Volunteer Coordinator plays a vital role within this dynamic team by planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events that advance the center's mission and foster community engagement. These events include donor cultivation gatherings and major fundraisers, professional training sessions, parent and caregiver education opportunities, and community events that bring families together. The coordinator also manages the organization's volunteer program by identifying needs, recruiting and onboarding volunteers, placing them appropriately, monitoring their activities, and recognizing their valuable contributions. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about child and family development to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment that values quality, curiosity, diverse perspectives, critical thinking, innovation, and collaboration.
