The position of Events & Sponsorship Manager is a pivotal role within this agency, responsible for spearheading the overall agency event strategy and ensuring successful execution of fundraising events. This role is tailored for a dynamic, innovative professional who is passionate about event management and nonprofit fundraising. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and maintaining relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations while leveraging the latest trends in event fundraising to enhance donor engagement and retention.
This full-time position involves overseeing all logistical aspects of fundraising events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and event setup. The Manager works closely with regional directors and advisory boards to guarantee the creation of memorable and impactful events that resonate with attendees and supporters alike. Attention to detail is paramount, as the role also includes managing event contracts, coordinating marketing and communication efforts, and conducting post-event analyses to maximize fundraising outcomes.
Additionally, the Events & Sponsorship Manager collaborates closely with the Development Department to identify and cultivate potential donors, ensuring a vibrant and growing donor base that supports the agency's financial goals. Proficiency in event management software and CRM systems is essential for tracking event performance and donor interactions efficiently.
