Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or similar role preferred
  • Ability to handle physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and reaching
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to work in a public retail environment
  • Must be able to assist with physical retail tasks such as stocking and unloading trucks
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with others
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capable of adjusting event plans based on client needs
  • Must be willing to engage in continued learning and cross training
  • Must be able to support shrink and safety programs

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative atmosphere
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects, perform face painting and activities
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails and paperwork
  • Adjust plans based on client feedback and create emergency plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote rewards programs and process enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandising duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Follow company policies and standards
  • Project a positive and respectful image
  • Cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
