This role offers a full-time salary position based in Malibu Jack's Lafayette, IN.

The company is currently seeking a dedicated Events & Parties Operations Manager to lead and manage the team responsible for delivering flawless event experiences. This role is pivotal in coordinating logistics for all events, overseeing space setup, catering, entertainment, and ensuring customer satisfaction remains at the highest level. Candidates should be enthusiastic about leadership, operational excellence, and customer service. The Events & Parties Operations Manager acts as the primary coordinator for all birthday party requests received through phone or website bookings, ensuring events such as birthdays, company functions, and other park activities are executed flawlessly and provide memorable experiences to guests. The role demands strong organizational skills to manage scheduling, event communication, inventory, and reporting. It also requires supervising a diverse team of employees to deliver seamless operations and uphold exemplary customer service standards. This position involves direct interaction with guests, handling inquiries and resolving issues related to their events, as well as maintaining and cultivating positive relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to enhance service quality and encourage repeat business. The manager collaborates closely with the sales department to promote party packages and group offerings and assists in developing promotional materials. Effective communication and leadership with shift leads and team members are essential to align operational goals and foster a cooperative work environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Must have at least one year of management or supervisory experience
  • Experience in events and parties management is required
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work up to 45 hours per week, available every weekend
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 39lbs unaided
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations management and event coordination, preferably in family entertainment or hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer-centric approach
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in entertainment or event settings
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including space setup, catering, and entertainment, ensuring flawless execution and high customer satisfaction
  • Manage incoming birthday party requests via phone calls or website bookings
  • Oversee execution and guest experience of birthdays, company events, and other park functions
  • Plan party area execution, schedule hosts, contact party contacts to discuss event details, and answer event and package questions
  • Handle administrative tasks including inventory control and event report management
  • Supervise and lead a diverse team to maintain high customer service standards and seamless event operations
  • Serve as point of contact for special projects and emergency situations, addressing guest inquiries and event-related issues
  • Develop and maintain client, vendor, and partner relationships to enhance service offerings and drive repeat business
  • Collaborate with the sales team to promote party packages and assist in promotional material development
  • Train and communicate regularly with shift leads and team leads to align goals and foster teamwork
