Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance
- Have access to reliable transportation
- Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Minimum commitment of 2 years onsite
- Have access to a personal computer and phone for communication
- Basic computer skills
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Professionalism
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services
- Experience serving at-risk populations preferred
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- English proficiency required
- Bilingual Spanish helpful
- Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities
- Event planning and execution experience
Job Duties
- Coordinate with corporate, government, and non-profit partners to deliver quality programs tailored to community needs
- Coordinate or host resident workshops for adult and youth education
- Meet with residents to assist with specific needs
- Prepare and distribute communication for rental assistance, food assistance, and other help
- Oversee each activity to ensure they run as planned
- Communicate regularly with onsite staff
- Report activity and impact monthly
