Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years in nonprofit fundraising or related field
- Proven track record with corporate sponsorships and fundraising events
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to animal welfare mission
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 plus years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, events management, and/or corporate partnerships
- Demonstrated success securing corporate sponsorships
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Effective communication and presentation abilities
- Experience with donor databases and CRM systems
- Comfortable with revenue goals, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to nonprofit mission
Job Duties
- Create and implement an annual events strategy aligned with fundraising goals
- Lead planning and execution of signature fundraising and donor stewardship events
- Manage event timelines and budgets ensuring on-schedule and within budget
- Coordinate event logistics including venues, vendors, volunteers, staffing, and run-of-show planning
- Partner with Development and Communications teams for consistent event messaging, branding, and sponsorship recognition
- Track and report on event performance including ROI and donor engagement
- Develop and execute corporate partnerships strategy with Chief Development Officer
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners through sponsorships and year-round collaborations
- Build and manage corporate sponsorship pipeline including prospect research and proposals
- Develop tiered sponsorship packages aligned with partner objectives
- Oversee corporate matching gift and workplace giving programs
- Organize corporate volunteer engagement opportunities with Volunteer Manager
- Steward corporate partners for renewal and long-term commitment
- Collaborate with Development leadership to align events and partnerships with fundraising strategies
- Work with program and operations teams to create engagement opportunities for partners
- Ensure timely stewardship, recognition, and reporting for sponsors
- Support donor and sponsor communications
- Participate in Development team and all-staff meetings
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
