Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in nonprofit fundraising or related field
  • Proven track record with corporate sponsorships and fundraising events
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to animal welfare mission

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 plus years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, events management, and/or corporate partnerships
  • Demonstrated success securing corporate sponsorships
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience with donor databases and CRM systems
  • Comfortable with revenue goals, budgeting, and performance tracking
  • Passion for animal welfare and commitment to nonprofit mission

Job Duties

  • Create and implement an annual events strategy aligned with fundraising goals
  • Lead planning and execution of signature fundraising and donor stewardship events
  • Manage event timelines and budgets ensuring on-schedule and within budget
  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, vendors, volunteers, staffing, and run-of-show planning
  • Partner with Development and Communications teams for consistent event messaging, branding, and sponsorship recognition
  • Track and report on event performance including ROI and donor engagement
  • Develop and execute corporate partnerships strategy with Chief Development Officer
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners through sponsorships and year-round collaborations
  • Build and manage corporate sponsorship pipeline including prospect research and proposals
  • Develop tiered sponsorship packages aligned with partner objectives
  • Oversee corporate matching gift and workplace giving programs
  • Organize corporate volunteer engagement opportunities with Volunteer Manager
  • Steward corporate partners for renewal and long-term commitment
  • Collaborate with Development leadership to align events and partnerships with fundraising strategies
  • Work with program and operations teams to create engagement opportunities for partners
  • Ensure timely stewardship, recognition, and reporting for sponsors
  • Support donor and sponsor communications
  • Participate in Development team and all-staff meetings
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
