This notable venue boasts a stunning pillarless ballroom perfect for dynamic events, a private lounge equipped with luxurious seating, and an outdoor courtyard that provides a cozy firepit setting ideal for social gatherings. As a distinguished player in the hospitality industry, the Washington Hilton integrates elegance and functionality to accommodate a diverse range of events, from corporate meetings to grand celebrations. The hotel prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences by blending outstanding service with premier amenities in a vibrant urban location. This commitment extends to their team members, who operate within a supportive and inclusive environment that nurtures personal growth and professional excellence.
The Washington Hilton is seeking an organized and proactive Events and Catering Administrative Coordinator to join their Events and Catering team. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a competitive pay rate of $25.22 per hour along with medical insurance coverage for you and your family. The coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Events and Catering Department, ensuring that every aspect of event administration runs smoothly, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and the hotel’s financial success. Key responsibilities include managing Banquet Event Orders, conducting general office tasks such as word processing, data entry, handling email correspondence via Outlook, and assisting both clients and colleagues with their requests promptly and courteously. Additionally, the role involves coordinating travel and transportation arrangements and supporting special projects as needed.
Candidates with a solid background in hospitality and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications will thrive in this role. The Washington Hilton values team members who exhibit hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a strong sense of urgency in their operations. The working environment emphasizes quality, productivity, dependability, customer focus, and adaptability, ensuring that employees not only contribute to the hotel’s mission but also have opportunities for career growth and development. Hilton’s dedication to mental and physical well-being, alongside benefits like paid time off, employee discounts, and educational programs, creates a supportive setting for every team member. Joining the Washington Hilton means becoming a part of a global hospitality leader with nearly a century of experience in serving business and leisure travelers with excellence and warmth.
