Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in event technology or registration management
  • Proven track record managing large scale events and projects
  • Expertise with registration platforms and event management software
  • Ability to travel extensively including air travel and overnight stays
  • Willingness to work outside standard business hours as needed
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to handle stressful and fast-changing environments
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality
  • Demonstrated capability to work with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations
  • Flexibility to work remotely and travel onsite

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in event technology or registration project management
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritization
  • Experience with event registration tools such as Rainfocus, Stova, Swoogo, Cvent, or Eventbase
  • Able to perform well under high stress and fast-paced environments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work cooperatively
  • Resourceful and self-directed learner
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback professionally
  • Skilled in mathematical concepts applicable in budgeting and reconciliation
  • Able to interpret diverse instructions and problem solve

Job Duties

  • Works as workstream lead on large events
  • Independently manages and supervises all assigned tasks on multiple projects
  • Consults clients on registration website builds and digital tool configuration
  • Creates a workback timeline and ensures compliance
  • Maintains documentation and manages content for event technology tools
  • Demonstrates proficiency in digital platforms and troubleshooting
  • Leads complex client meetings and documents outcomes
  • Demos registration websites and event platform functionalities
  • Completes projects within hourly and budgetary goals
  • Participates in internal training and suggests process improvements
  • Uses advanced Excel skills for reporting
  • Manages onsite registration areas including kiosks and badge printers
  • Supervises onsite teams and acts as client point of contact
  • Develops attendee support and badge security plans
  • Creates and adapts risk mitigation plans
