Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Completion of Encore's training and certification requirements
  • 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • 1 year of audiovisual or equivalent experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license if operating company vehicles
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, stooping, crawling, kneeling, bending, reaching above head, climbing, grasping
  • Availability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Adherence to appearance guidelines
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate's degree is preferred
  • Must meet and complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore's Global Learning Training Program
  • 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
  • 1 year of audiovisual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred
  • Valid driver's license required for operation of company vehicles
  • Must have competency in hospitality, ownership, and safety consciousness
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment
  • Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers
  • Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication
  • Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly
  • Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day
  • Understands and fosters the hotel/client relationship
  • Demonstrates basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve equipment and software issues
  • Handles equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner
  • Completes systems entry and paperwork accurately
  • Uses equipment sheets to determine equipment scheduled for setup and strike
  • Interacts with staff and vendors for equipment
  • Utilizes floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue
  • Works with clients to finalize invoices
  • Completes order entries in Navigator as needed
