The company’s dedication to quality and innovation has made it a preferred choice for clients looking to host seamless and impactful events. With a culture focused on inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration, Encore offers employees opportunities to grow and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

The position of Technician at Encore is essential for ensuring the flawless execution of events by expertly setting up and operating small-scale audiovisual systems in hospitality settings. Reporting to an Operations Manager, Operations Director, or Director of Event Technology, the Technician will handle the setup, operation, and teardown of basic audiovisual equipment, maintain positive client relationships, monitor event needs, and troubleshoot technical challenges efficiently.

This role requires a balance between technical expertise and a customer-oriented approach, as the Technician must support both the event atmosphere and client expectations. Responsibilities include operating equipment according to established technical guidelines, ensuring accuracy in systems entry and paperwork, and using upselling techniques to increase revenue. Additionally, the Technician plays a vital role in internal processes by interacting with clients to finalize invoices and completing order entries accurately. The position offers an hourly pay range of $15.64 to $20.33, with final compensation based on factors such as location, experience, and skills. The employment type is hourly and may include irregular hours, on-call status, and work during weekends and holidays.

Encore values a safe and inclusive work environment where all team members are supported through comprehensive benefits options. The company emphasizes competency development in areas such as world-class service, ownership, safety consciousness, and effective communication. Physical work demands are significant and include lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and exposure to varying working conditions ranging from quiet to noisy environments, indoor hotel settings, warehouse environments, and occasional outdoor temperatures. Technicians should be prepared for irregular work hours, travel between various hotel locations, and usage of specialized audiovisual equipment.

This role represents a unique opportunity for individuals interested in blending technical skill with hospitality excellence. Encore’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity further enriches the workplace culture, making it an inviting and rewarding environment for technicians eager to advance their career in event technology. Those in this position will directly contribute to the success of high-profile events while growing their technical knowledge and customer service expertise in a supportive organization.
