Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three plus years of event technology experience with specialty in audio, lighting, projection, or video
  • Three to four years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Completion of all required training and certifications within 60 days for external applicants
  • Compliance with Encore’s Global Learning Training Program for internal applicants
  • Professional and effective interaction with diverse workforce and senior management
  • Strong customer, client, and coworker interface abilities
  • Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Ensures flawless event execution through setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues promptly
  • Adheres to company security and safety standards
  • Secures equipment from theft and damage during use
  • Provides excellent customer service and maintains positive client relationships
  • Collaborates with team members pre-event and during event to optimize solutions
  • Mentors and coaches technical and sales staff to develop skills
  • Supervises and directs technicians during events
  • Assists with equipment storage, inventory, transportation, and maintenance
  • Performs forecasting of equipment needs
