The position of Event Support Expert at the West Palm Beach Marriott plays a crucial role in ensuring flawless execution of events held at the property. This role goes beyond the typical expectations of setting up tables and chairs; it involves creating a unique and memorable atmosphere for guests attending banquets, meetings, and other special events. The Event Support Expert is responsible for a wide range of services that ensure event operations run smoothly—from materials set-up and breakdown to the transport of supplies, stocking bars, and manning action stations. The role demands individuals who can take initiative and demonstrate a hands-on approach, often involving physical activities such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects. Candidates must be comfortable standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and be able to safely handle objects up to 50 pounds independently and with assistance for heavier items.
