The Janitorial Event Supervisor role is a vital component of Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group’s operational framework. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the supervisor is responsible for organizing, supervising, and ensuring that all cleaning processes meet established quality and safety standards. This includes maintaining vital records, managing labor and material costs, enforcing safety protocols, and responding promptly to client requests.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous janitorial or supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • capability to carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders
  • ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, damp)
  • reliable transportation
  • willingness to work flexible hours including event shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively
  • must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
  • must be able to climb up and down a ladder
  • ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments
  • reliable transportation
  • janitor/cleaning experience is a plus
  • supervising experience is a plus
  • bilingual (Spanish/English)

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan, and execute cleaning operations for assigned shifts
  • control labor hours and labor, materials, and equipment costs
  • communicate acceptable productivity, safety, and quality standards and enforce them
  • ensure all supplies, equipment, and labor are available to complete assigned tasks
  • provide employee training and communicate company/client policies and procedures
  • conduct walk-thru inspections of the facility throughout the length of the shift
  • conduct in-service meetings with Team Leaders and employees
  • respond to requests of the client
  • report all accidents, injuries, or incidents immediately
  • handle human resources concerns during assigned shifts including training, employee evaluations, and disciplinary/action reports
  • maintain records for assigned shifts including checklists, sign-in/sign-out forms, equipment allocation, labor reports, time cards, inspection reports, team work schedules, and safety reports
  • maintain equipment in good condition
  • report maintenance and safety concerns immediately
  • ensure property details are completed
  • ensure employees complete the checklist for job completion and sign off on them
  • complete all other duties and service requests as assigned by the Site Manager
  • display a service-oriented mindset maintaining courtesy and diplomacy with residents, colleagues, management, vendors, and external customers
  • read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • maintain regular and punctual attendance
