Job Description

Watermill Express is a well-established company dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality products primarily within Texas and multiple surrounding markets. It operates across 19 markets in 8 states, providing an extensive network that combines efficiency with community engagement. The organization prides itself on maintaining professionalism, integrity, and honesty in all its operations, which are key pillars outlined in the company's Pledge of Conduct. This ethos ensures that every employee contributes meaningfully to the company’s reputation and service excellence. Watermill Express provides a dynamic work environment, emphasizing teamwork, customer interaction, and adherence to company policies and safety regulations. The company’s broad market presence coupled with its consumer-focused approach positions it as a leader in the field marketing and promotional event segments.

Watermill Express is currently seeking an outgoing and organized Event Specialist to manage and personally staff promotional events. This hourly, non-exempt position offers competitive pay ranging from $25 to $27 per hour, depending on experience. The role is highly visible and integral to the company’s marketing efforts as the Event Specialist will act as the face of the company, actively engaging with customers to build awareness and promote products. This position involves frequent travel, particularly on weekends, covering 35 to 40 weekends per year. Event Specialists are expected to set up and dismantle event sites, transport marketing materials such as tents, banners, bottles, and tables, and conduct product demonstrations while answering customer inquiries effectively.

The typical schedule during event weeks is Thursday through Monday, and the employee must be available for all days within those periods. Outside of event engagements, the Event Specialist can work remotely from home or from the local Watermill Express office and must reside within the Las Vegas area to qualify. This opportunity offers a unique blend of travel, customer engagement, outdoor work, and independent task management. Employees are encouraged to exhibit creativity in customer interactions and demonstrate strong communication skills both in person and electronically. There is a strong emphasis on safety and physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including lifting items up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Bilingual candidates are preferred, enhancing communication reach with diverse customers.

Joining Watermill Express as an Event Specialist means being part of a successful and growing company that values integrity, hard work, and community involvement. Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits such as a company-provided vehicle for work travel, medical insurance with no employee premium for single coverage, employer contributions to health savings accounts, life and AD&D insurance, and optional dental, vision, supplemental life, short-term disability, accident, and critical illness coverage. Additional perks include an employee assistance program, vacation accrual, paid holidays, 401k and Roth plans with company matching, and company-provided attire. This role offers a fulfilling career path for individuals with a passion for event marketing, customer service, and dynamic work conditions who wish to contribute to a respected and community-oriented company.
