The Food and Beverage & Culinary team at Gaylord Hotels is seeking a dedicated, full-time Banquet Coordinator to join their Nashville location. The role is classified as a non-management position with an hourly pay rate of $23.00, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive wages. This position demands a dynamic individual who will work closely with coordinators and hosts before banquets to ensure flawless event execution. The Banquet Coordinator will be responsible for understanding and analyzing banquet event orders to meticulously gather guest information, plan appropriate event organization, and oversee the needs related to buffets and food stations. Managing special arrangements and following up on these to guarantee their successful implementation will be a key aspect of this position.

Beyond the operational responsibilities, the Banquet Coordinator will uphold Marriott’s rigorous safety policies and procedures by identifying maintenance or safety hazards and participating in required safety certifications and training. Maintaining a professional appearance and uniform is essential, as is respecting company confidentiality and property. This role also requires the ability to physically manage tasks such as moving or lifting objects up to 25 pounds and enduring prolonged periods of standing or walking.
