Job Description
Watermill Express is a dynamic and customer-focused company operating within the food service industry, specifically known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. With a growing presence across 19 markets in 8 states, Watermill Express prides itself on providing exceptional service while maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism. The company fosters a positive work environment that emphasizes honesty, fairness, and respecting company policies and procedures. Watermill Express values employees who demonstrate dedication and professionalism, aligning with their Pledge of Conduct to ensure the best possible customer experience.
We are seeking an outgoing, organized Event Specialist to join our team and manage promotional events across multiple markets. This role is crucial in representing the brand and engaging directly with customers at various events, serving as the face of the company. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with frequent travel, particularly on weekends, as the position requires approximately 35-40 weekends per year traveling throughout Texas and neighboring states. The schedule typically involves working Thursday through Monday during event weeks, with a focus on full availability across these days. When not traveling, the Event Specialist can work remotely or from the local Watermill Express office, making residency in the Dallas-Fort Worth area a requirement.
This position involves the physical setup and breakdown of event sites, including loading and transporting marketing materials like bottles, tents, tables, and banners. The Event Specialist is responsible for engaging customers, conducting product demonstrations, fielding questions, and providing valuable feedback to the Design & Promotions Manager. Beyond events, the role includes assisting with community outreach programs, contributing to the company's broader engagement strategy. Emphasis is placed on safety, professional conduct, and collaboration, ensuring all events uphold Watermill Express's reputation.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including company-provided vehicles for travel, comprehensive medical insurance with no monthly premium for employees, employer HSA contributions, life and disability insurance, and optional supplemental coverages. Employees also receive vacation accrual, paid holidays, company match 401k and Roth options, company-provided attire, and access to employee assistance programs. Our work culture supports independence and creativity, encouraging team players with outstanding communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude. Candidates who thrive in outdoor environments, possess valid driver’s licenses, and have a clean driving record will be well-suited for this demanding yet rewarding position. Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
If you are a motivated individual with a background in public speaking, field marketing, or customer service, enjoy engaging with people, and are ready to take on a role that offers both travel and hands-on interaction with customers, Watermill Express invites you to apply and become part of our successful, growing team.
