The position of Onsite Event Technician is critical in ensuring the technological elements of live events function flawlessly. As a hands-on technician, the successful applicant will act as the primary technical liaison between project teams and clients, solving problems quickly and maintaining efficient operations. This role involves managing the setup, configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance of essential event devices such as tablets for check-in, badge printers, routers, and other hardware or software applications. Being customer-facing, the role demands strong communication skills and professionalism, as technicians represent the company directly to event clients and attendees.

Technicians will be responsible for managing session scanning and lead capture technologies, ensuring data collection tools are running smoothly during live event sessions. They will also handle logistical tasks related to equipment shipping, inventory management, and post-event returns. Due to the nature of this role, travel to various event sites is frequent, accounting for up to 90 percent of the work schedule. Flexibility in hours is necessary given the evolving demands of live events and travel itineraries.
