Job Description
We are a dynamic company specializing in providing technical support for high-visibility, live, in-person events across the United States. Our organization is dedicated to delivering seamless event experiences by ensuring that all technical aspects, from check-in stations to session scanning and device setups, are handled with precision and professionalism. We operate primarily in the events and conference industry, supporting clients at various major venues nationwide. Our team is composed of skilled individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for technology and customer service.
We are currently seeking Onsite Event Technicians to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is heavily travel-focused, with approximately 90 percent travel required, as technicians will be needed onsite at numerous conference and event venues around the country. The role is ideal for individuals situated near major metropolitan airports across the US, allowing for ease of travel to event locations. The position offers immediate opportunities and involves working closely with project teams and clients to ensure that all technical needs are met during live events.
As an Onsite Event Technician, you will serve as the technical point of contact on the ground, managing crucial operational technology such as tablets, badge printers, routers, and other event hardware. You will be responsible for configuring, testing, and maintaining these devices and applications to support smooth event operations. Duties also include setting up and managing check-in stations, supporting session scanning and lead capture processes, handling inventory and incoming shipments, and managing post-event returns. This customer-facing role demands strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to troubleshoot quickly and effectively in live event settings.
While a technical background or skillset is preferred for this role, we provide training to ensure you are equipped to succeed. This role suits those with experience in event technology, audio-visual support, IT, or hardware setup, but we are also open to applicants willing to learn and grow their technical skills. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to different event environments are essential qualities for success in this position.
This opportunity is perfect for proactive, hands-on technicians eager to contribute to the success of large-scale live events and contribute to creating memorable experiences for attendees and clients alike. Join us to be part of a fast-growing company that values teamwork, technical excellence, and customer satisfaction, with numerous event opportunities available now.
