The role at hand is designed for a Marketing and Client Relations Executive who will play a crucial part in driving client engagement and managing event-related activities for the company’s clients. This position primarily focuses on researching potential clients to build a comprehensive and up-to-date client database. The executive will be responsible for organizing and managing the company’s annual events using telemarketing, email, and fax promotions and will occasionally deliver presentations to prospective clients or partners.

Beyond client acquisition, the role includes providing ongoing account servicing to maintain and strengthen the company’s relationships with current clients. This includes coordinating with embassies, government agencies, and associations, highlighting the importance of maintaining strong professional rapports. The executive will collaborate with internal departments such as Marketing and Creative teams to ensure the marketing materials, press releases, and event requirements are all managed effectively.

Part of the responsibilities also involves competitor analysis by attending competitor events and providing detailed reports on their strengths and weaknesses, which helps the company stay competitive and innovative. The position may require on-site participation during events, including before, during, and after the event to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field and have a keen interest in fieldwork and events management. Job Duties

  • Conducts research on potential clients and generates a client database
  • Organizes and manages the company’s annual events through telemarketing, email, and fax promotions, and delivers presentations when necessary
  • Provides account servicing to existing and prospective clients
  • Develops and updates the client database regularly
  • Prepares proposals, correspondence, and marketing materials, including layouts, event fact sheets, association letters, sponsorship and solicitation letters, and weekly reports
  • Maintains strong relationships with clients through regular phone calls, emails, and personal meetings, particularly with embassies, government agencies, and associations
  • Coordinates with confirmed exhibitors regarding their event requirements
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Department on press releases
  • Works with the Creative Department to fulfill necessary requirements
  • Attends competitor events and submits reports evaluating their strengths and weaknesses
  • Assists with other event team assignments as needed
  • Takes on-site roles before, during, and after events as required
  • Prepares post-event reports for top management
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned from time to time
