Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry and push 25 pounds or more
  • physical stamina for continuous walking and standing
  • ability to team lift 50 pounds or more
  • availability for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • one year or more of event setup experience preferred
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • teamwork skills
  • commitment to customer service
  • energetic and enthusiastic attitude

Job Qualifications

  • One year or more of event setup experience in a hotel environment preferred
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Responsible for set-up and tear-down of all event functions
  • manage event space and coordinate with Events and Event Services departments
  • oversee, motivate and coach Event Set-Up team
  • continuously walk, stand, and lift event materials
  • work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • maintain communication and coordination with hotel departments
  • promote guest satisfaction and colleague engagement
