The role of Event Services Technician at Pinnacle Live is a dynamic and pivotal position focused on providing technical and operational support during events in hotel and hospitality environments. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, technical proficiency, and strong customer service skills are essential. Technicians play a critical role in ensuring that each event runs smoothly by setting up, operating, and breaking down AV and technological equipment according to established company standard operating procedures. Beyond the basic technical functions, the Event Services Technician serves as a key point of communication with clients, providing instructions on equipment operation and responding to client requests promptly and professionally.

This role requires someone who is not only technically adept but also highly organized and attentive to security and inventory control. Maintaining the integrity and quality of the company’s equipment is paramount, and the technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment is in working order and reporting any damage or loss immediately to management. Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to company SOPs
  • Greet guests/clients before event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment
  • Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events
  • Follow through on all client requests
  • Look for opportunities to enhance client’s event
  • Maintain accurate client event information within the company’s business systems
  • Review daily invoices with client and obtain client’s signature on invoice(s)
  • Comply with all company security and safety measures and is constantly aware of the property inventory and location of equipment and ensures inventory is secure from theft and/or damage
  • Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
  • Ensure any lost stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to management
  • Make sure all company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to company standards
  • Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, staging and computer operation and networking
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
