The role of Event Services Technician at Pinnacle Live is integral to the successful implementation of technology solutions within the fast-paced hotel or hospitality environment. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer service while handling crucial event floor operations including setup, strike, and operation of various AV equipment. The technician must ensure that every event is flawlessly executed according to company standard operating procedures and client expectations, which requires close communication and proactive engagement with clients throughout the event lifecycle. Essential duties involve welcoming guests and clients, educating them on equipment usage, managing event inventories, maintaining operational readiness of all AV equipment, and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the client’s event experience. This role demands technical aptitude combined with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, making it perfect for those with a passion for technology and customer service. Candidates will be expected to handle physical tasks such as setting up equipment, managing inventory security, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment. Job Duties

  • Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to company SOPs
  • greet guests/clients before event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment
  • provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events
  • follow through on all client requests
  • look for opportunities to enhance client’s event
  • maintain accurate client event information within the company’s business systems
  • review daily invoices with client and obtain client’s signature on invoice(s)
  • comply with all company security and safety measures and is constantly aware of the property inventory and location of equipment and ensures inventory is secure from theft and/or damage
  • ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
  • ensure any lost stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to management
  • ensure inventory is secure from theft and/or damage
  • make sure all company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to company standards
  • continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, staging and computer operation and networking
  • comply with all company policies and procedures
  • other duties as assigned
