Job Description

Sensei is a wellness-focused company founded by Dr. David Agus and Larry Ellison, dedicated to leading the world toward greater wellbeing through a unique ecosystem of products and experiences. The company’s philosophy centers on empowering individuals to grow well by offering experiential movement, rest, and nourishment classes and programs. Sensei’s flagship wellness brand includes a range of services launched at the Retreats on Lana'i, Hawaii, in partnership with Four Seasons resorts and Nobu’s renowned food offerings. This location includes Sensei Porcupine Creek, where the company operates lodging, world-class golf, tennis, spa, fitness, movement, nutrition, meditative, enrichment, and body assessment facilities. Additionally, Sensei manages the food and beverage operations under a licensing agreement with Nobu. The programs are high-touch, evidence-led, and supported by advanced technology, ensuring a holistic and cutting-edge guest experience.

The On-Call Event Server role is integral to ensuring an exceptional event experience that aligns with Sensei's elevated standards. This position is responsible for managing the guest experience throughout events by overseeing the proper execution of all service elements from setup through breakdown, in line with internal banquet event orders. The role requires a detailed understanding of various event styles (buffet, plated, reception), menu offerings, including dietary restrictions and allergens, and outstanding service delivery techniques. Event Servers anticipated guest needs and provide thoughtful suggestions to craft memorable experiences. They maintain professionalism and uphold Sensei’s service standards, ensuring each event is executed flawlessly with attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Compensation for this position is $24.00 per hour, reflective of the upscale environment and prestigious standards maintained at Sensei's facilities. Employment is on an on-call basis, offering flexibility and an opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment that values collaboration, learning, and wellness principles. This role suits individuals who are passionate about hospitality, wellness, and providing exemplary guest service in a luxury setting.
