Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, friendly, and highly motivated Event Server to join our Abigail Kirsch team at the Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown, New York. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a wide range of events and engage with diverse clientele. As an Event Server, your main responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable experience during their event. You will greet customers warmly, explain menu items, take and deliver food and drink orders promptly, and follow up on guests’ needs throughout the event. Maintaining strict adherence to health code regulations and service standards is crucial in this role. This position requires flexibility, as you may be needed to work outdoors during summer and winter events as well as on weekends and holidays. Compensation for this role is $22 per hour. The Event Server must be physically capable of standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior foodservice experience in a catering or restaurant environment is a must, with at least one year preferred.
