Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- at least 1 year of related experience and/or training in a high-volume restaurant
- proficiency with Point-of-Sale systems
- must have a current San Diego County Food Handlers card, issued by the city of San Diego
- reliable transportation is necessary

Job Duties
- Execute banquet events according to orders, completing all assigned tasks and duties
- assign opening and closing duties to servers, ensuring they fulfill their tasks effectively
- collaborate with kitchen staff for buffet replenishment and timing of plated events
- maintain and store event equipment and supplies appropriately
- be responsible for rental equipment at the conclusion of events
- welcome and greet guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to
- set up and tear down banquet areas, handling linens, place settings, and buffet items
- arrange banquet rooms according to function sheets and instructions
- deliver food and beverages promptly to guests from the kitchen and bar
- pour and refill wine, coffee, water, and other beverages responsibly
