Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of experience in technology sales or related hospitality field
- Proficiency in computer applications and CRM systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to perform physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to travel to multiple hotel locations
- Commitment to adhering to company appearance and conduct standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits and pre-conference meetings to support customer event experience
- Understand and apply event cost structures to solution designs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in CRM
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and support forecasting efforts
- Adopt and follow standard operating procedures and new initiatives
- Keep current with new product and technology offerings for events
