Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate CRM data
- Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to attend site visits and events at various hotel/convention locations
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and other departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support customer event experience
- Understand event cost structure and design solutions according to profitability guidelines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and company departments
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate customer information in CRM
- Support sales forecasting efforts and adopt all SOPs and new initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of new product and service offerings and emerging event technology
