Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of sales experience in technology or hospitality
  • Proficient with technology and computer applications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records in CRM systems
  • Capability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to travel to multiple hotel locations as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one year of technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support the customer event experience
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines into solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel to deliver world-class service
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure achievement of revenue targets
  • Support sales forecasting efforts and timely submission
  • Learn and adopt standard operating procedures and new initiatives
  • Keep knowledge current on new products, services, and emerging event technology
