Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • At least one year of experience in Encore or equivalent environment
  • Experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
  • Prior audiovisual sales experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with computer systems and technical tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage relationships and sales pipeline effectively

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of experience in event technology sales or hospitality
  • Prior sales experience in audiovisual preferred
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and exhibit core values such as ownership and accountability

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings
  • Understand event cost structures and design profitable solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Maintain accurate and updated information in the customer relationship management system
