Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of relevant sales or hospitality experience
- Experience in technology sales preferred
- Proficient with CRM systems and sales methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to attend site visits and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Flexible to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- BS or BA degree or equivalent experience
- One or more years of Encore or equivalent experience
- Preferably one year of technology sales or hospitality experience
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach utilizing Encore sales process and methodology
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers including those submitted through venue booking systems
- Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning, and venue meetings to support customer event experience
- Understand event cost structure and design solutions according to profitability guidelines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and Encore departments to deliver world-class service
- Maintain accurate customer information in CRM and support sales forecasting and pipeline management
