Event Sales Manager

The Event Sales Manager is accountable for selling and servicing various events, including weddings, corporate events and meetings, social events, military events, educational meetings, proms, religious and fraternal events, and other events that are primarily catering. The primary focus of sales is on banquet food and beverage and room rental, which includes menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services. Responsibilities also involve contracting events and maintaining effective communication with relevant hotel staff before, during, and after the events to ensure a high level of service is delivered. The Event Sales Manager also hosts hotel tours, maintains strong customer relationships, participates and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the sales and events staff. The manager also works closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.
