Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years of experience in hotel event or catering sales or completed Event Management trainee program
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong financial knowledge
  • proficiency in technology applications
  • exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to work in fast-paced environments

Job Duties

  • Sell banquet food, beverage, and meeting room rentals
  • achieve individual revenue goals
  • service events and facilitate communication before, during, and after events
  • conduct business development and contract review
  • manage event deposits and payment collection
  • plan menus and agendas
  • host hotel tours and maintain customer, community, and brand relationships
  • participate and lead event and staff meetings
  • collaborate with sales, events, and operations staff
