Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in hotel or event sales preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must have excellent organizational and negotiation skills
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in general computer knowledge
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Prefer two years hotel experience or completion of an Event Management trainee program
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Job Duties
- Sell banquet food, beverage, and meeting room rentals
- Plan event menus and set agendas
- Manage hotel meeting services
- Develop new business and review contracts
- Facilitate communication before, during, and after events
