The Event Sales Director role at Premier Country Club is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of event sales operations within the club. This full-time position involves strategic planning, selling, and coordination of events that cater to the club’s elite membership and guest base. The Event Sales Director leads a dedicated sales team to deliver outstanding event experiences while consistently meeting or exceeding annual event sales targets. This role requires a proactive approach to developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the club's business objectives and enhance its competitive edge.

Key responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, prospects, and key community contacts both inside and outside the club. The Director collaborates closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to design and offer profitable event packages balancing client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Successful candidates are expected to analyze market trends and competitor activities actively, deriving insights to refine sales approaches and generate new business opportunities. The role emphasizes a high-performance culture within the event sales team, mentoring staff to achieve professional growth and maintain high service standards.

Operational oversight is critical in this position, including ensuring all event-related activities and expenses are meticulously tracked and aligned with financial goals. The Director will utilize sales management tools like Cater Pro and Power BI to monitor sales performance and manage event data effectively. This position is ideal for a driven sales professional with at least three years of experience in commissioned sales within the hospitality or events sectors, a proven record of meeting sales quotas, and strong leadership skills.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in a commissioned sales role within the hospitality or events industry with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Job Duties

  • oversee the client consultation process providing expert advice and creating tailored event solutions that meet client needs and club profitability goals
  • regularly obtain client feedback and implement improvements to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
  • provide guidance to the event sales team facilitating professional growth and maintaining high standards of performance
