This position is for an Event Sales Coordinator who plays a critical role in driving the club’s catering sales goals and profitability. The Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and planning various events from member social gatherings and golf events to corporate meetings and private banquets. Through both direct and indirect sales efforts, the coordinator promotes the club’s various event spaces, ensuring maximum utilization and revenue generation.

The Event Sales Coordinator prepares and obtains signed contracts and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), meticulously communicates operational details to the banquet team, and collaborates closely with vendors and event specialists to ensure flawless event execution. Strong organizational and presentation skills are essential, along with excellent customer service and communication abilities. This role requires a candidate with prior experience in event planning or venue-related work, ideally within a club or hospitality environment.

The position demands proactive sales activities including participation in regional trade shows, outside sales calls, telephone solicitation, and site inspections designed to build and sustain client relationships. The coordinator is also charged with conducting market research and developing strategies to expand the club’s market share in key segments. They must create visually impressive promotional campaigns that highlight the club’s unique offerings and attract potential business clients.

The Event Sales Coordinator handles lead generation, lead management, and the development of bridal show plans to enhance event bookings.
