The position involves extensive client interaction, event planning, and management responsibilities where creativity and organizational skills are paramount. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing décor packages, managing event shipments, and supervising events on-site to deliver outstanding client experiences. Besides operational duties, the role includes sales activities such as creating client invoices with upselling objectives, managing budgets, and following up post-event to gather client feedback. Acting as a vital link between the sales and operations teams, the role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the flexibility to work various event schedules.
Offering a competitive compensation package, the position includes a base salary plus commissions, reflecting the value RentQuest places on performance and results. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 am to 6 pm, with flexibility required to accommodate events. Job Duties
- Meet and/or exceed budgeted revenue growth in assigned business segments
- Creating client invoices daily with the goal to upsell all orders
- Planning and designing décor packages with clients
- Managing shipments for events
- Maintaining contact with clients via email and phone to confirm event orders
- Supervising events on-site working directly with clients
- Assisting in the weekly event schedule
- Processing payment for various client orders
- Following up with clients after events to gather feedback
- Being a liaison between the sales team and operations team
