Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year experience in customer-facing or sales support role in hospitality or events
  • strong organizational skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively
  • capability to stand and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • ability to work in varying environments with exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
  • ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold
  • able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • effective talking, hearing, and visual acuity
  • flexibility to work additional hours including weekends and holidays
  • adherence to attendance requirements

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year customer-facing or sales support experience in hospitality or events industry
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • college coursework in hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
  • basic understanding of marketing and prospecting strategies preferred
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and event management software preferred

Job Duties

  • assist the Event Sales Manager with coordination and execution of event sales
  • serve as primary point of contact for clients during event planning
  • support creation and distribution of event proposals and contracts
  • maintain and update the client database
  • ensure proper filing and organization of event documents
  • assist with financial tracking and recording payments
  • manage event supplies and coordinate with vendors
  • coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure event details are executed
  • participate in sales and event meetings
  • provide general administrative support to sales management
  • assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned
  • follow company and department policies and procedures
  • maintain professionalism in interactions
  • follow safe working practices
  • pursue personal and professional growth
  • address challenges with available resources
  • attend daily briefings and contribute to team success
