Our team consists of talented Floral Designers, Floral Assistants, and Setup and Strike staff who collaborate seamlessly to bring each event vision to life. We operate primarily in an in-person environment, working closely with event planners, customers, and venues to ensure flawless execution from conception to completion. Our compensation package includes an attractive commission structure with uncapped potential, along with benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off. The work schedule typically involves day shifts from Monday to Friday with occasional weekends as needed, structured around 8-hour shifts.

We are currently seeking a motivated and social Event Sales Coordinator with proven event sales experience in the floral or event design industry to join our vibrant team. This key role requires overseeing the entire event process from the initial client meeting to the final strike, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to lead a diverse team consisting of designers, assistants, and logistics personnel. A significant part of the role involves engaging with potential clients, venues, and event planners to acquire new business opportunities and translate client visions into compelling proposals. Experience with Floral Detail Software is preferred to help streamline communications and planning processes, while excellent interpersonal skills are essential for coordinating multiple stakeholders and fostering positive relationships. Job Requirements

  • Event sales experience in floral or event design industry
  • Experience in events management for at least 5 years
  • Ability to oversee and lead a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with floral detail software preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or public relations preferred
  • Well-organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft office proficiency
  • Floral detail software experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet with different venues, new clients and event planners to bring new business
  • Talk to clients to get a sense of their vision
  • Prepare a proposal to present to client
  • Work with our team of floral designers to prepare client’s sample
  • Work with vendors to ensure all items are reserved for event
  • Supervise event on event date
  • Coordinate event strike
