The Catering Sales Manager at Wild Dunes Resort plays a vital role in driving banquet food and beverage revenue while securing meeting room rentals. This position specializes in the Wedding and Social markets and requires proactive coordination to ensure every event runs flawlessly from start to finish. Reporting to the Director of Events and working closely with the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Events, the Catering Sales Manager is responsible for selling, planning, and servicing various functions. Their duties include menu planning, developing event agendas, reviewing contracts, and liaising between clients and the resort’s departments. The manager also conducts site inspections, hosts client entertainment, facilitates communication throughout all event stages, participates in event meetings, and leads new business prospecting efforts.
